Whoever installed that must be off his trolley. A real basket case.

If it's just a temporary setup lasting no more than a handful of days at the very most, then its probably fine as a quick rig up (something to weigh the trolley down would help) but I seriously hope it's not intended to be permanent!!

Also is it me or has the elevation & lnb bracket on the dish been attached back to front?

Some brackets are reversible so you can get a better angle further south.
I was thinking rather that here instead of fixing the bracket at the back of the dish they have put it on the front instead - its the rim of the dish that has thrown me, though I would have thought that any such arrangement would make the dish useless? :-\

Oh I see what you mean, not sure if it's just the angle of the photo or the light reflections but it does look a bit odd now that I look at it closer.

Hasn't the dish face been attached back to front? I.E. the lip should be on the bracket side, it looks like it's at the front.....and maybe they could have used a Tesco's trolley as they have higher gain....

Not sure whether I've posted this before, but just in case, will post it again.:)
Not only a cable shortage but also a SKY LNB on a round dish which will never work 100%. Come on people educate yourselves!!! :)

The dish is an Elite 90+ offset I used to supply back in the mid 90's with a dual feed adapter as standard. Gain was excellent - as long as the reflector didn't get damaged in transit or on site. I could not possibly comment on how they were fitted once they left the office.

That dish looks nothing whatsoever like the one on the eye molesting website.

That's because it's been installed badlymt1.jpg .

Errr no its because it is an ISS dish.

:-rofl2

Its not just that the arm is different its not the same colour or even the same size . . .

:-rofl2

Your first picture with cable shortage is a great photo of a cowboys mess though.

I can assure you that is not an ISS dish, and the cable shortage image was what
absatelliteandaerial was referring to in his post.

Perhaps I have been working to hard :-ohmy but I can't see any photos of a dish in the absatelliteandaerial post.

Has it been eaten by the server? :confused

At any rate the Elite 90+ dish with a dual feed adapter does look like a decent dish, the arm rigidity is much better than the ISS dishes.
