[QUOTE="Fisty McB, post: 1083722, member: 389824"] I dunno, a few years ago I was tinkering with my motorised set up (1.2m dish on a Dark motor Diseqc/USALS) with the dish pointed at 26E, and noticed that standing at a position to the right while facing the front of the dish about 2 metres away saw the SNR rise by approx. 1db on a number of transponders - turned out these were on transponders that were on the same freq & polarity as transmissions also being used at 28.2E, as the transponders on Badr 4 which did not have an equal frequency transmission had no change in their SNR levels. Presumably from where I stood, the transmissions from 28E were being blocked by my body, but those from 26E were still coming in well enough with no apparent drop in signal strength. So if a dish was fixed at 26E for Badr 4 reception, a careful positioning of an object that is big enough - but not too big, might help with adjacent co-channel interference from say 28E or even 23.5E. This obviously isn't suitable for a motorised set up however, and the suggestions already mentioned here about gradually nudging the dish west of 26E (say 0.1 degree at a time) until you get the best SNR as a compromise is the easiest to carry out.
