Was there ever any answer for the manakin in the shop window below the Virgin Digital sign? Can't tell if there's something else in the window or if it's just reflections messed up by jpeg compression.

The Doll? Punk rock group from London, late 1970's

The Plant behind the Queen looks like Colocasia, also known as Elephant Ears,
Elephant Ear is a progressive rock band from the greater Detroit area.

The hill in the background could be Mountain (Nantucket Sleigh Ride is their best known track in the UK - partially used for the theme of Weekend World)

The eagles & crows together could represent The Byrds :D

The queen is pointing Pink Revolvers at the prince

Really left field - the mannequin could represent Bikini Red - an album by The Screaming Blue Messiahs (no Ive not heard of them either!)

If you view the whole image as a collage...Collage were a 70's band from Sardinia....or....as we have a Queen and a Prince, Royal Family were Paul Young's backing group..

The animal just above the Scissor Sisters is surely one of The Muskrats. I thought it might be a Beaver but the tail is wrong. I also toyed with The Boomtown Rats but that was just too much of a stretch.

There's an orange and red bag down in the bottom right which I reckon contains Onions.

On the fruit stall on the right are Pineapple or maybe The Pineapple Thief or Pineapple Express.

The three young women running away from the rolling stone are surely Athletes?

All my other possibles and left field maybes have already been mentioned by others. Except...

I'm not happy with any of the suggestions put forward for the lass in the red bikini. Not that I have anything better...

Been Googling around. Maybe it's Bikini Kill (American punk rock band formed in Olympia, Washington, in October 1990) or Bikini Girls (100% pure Garage-Punkabilly, based in Basel, Switzerland),

Hmm, just noticed there are some yellow flowers behind the guns and roses that nobody seems to have put a name to yet. I can't even identify what type of plant that is so I'm on a non-starter...

A couple of possibilities:

Mimosa (a 4 piece female fronted Pop & rock cover band) or The Mimosa Jazz Band ( swing band performing everything from traditional New Orleans music to Gypsy Jazz).

Or maybe Laburnum? UK Indie Rock band formed by brothers Ad Edwards and Ashley Edwards in December 2014 so probably too new.

There are 10 lampposts or poles emerging from the street, if the queen is Elizabeth the 1st - that makes the queen a Tudor... therefore Tenpole Tudor

I don't know what you're seeing but it's definitely a shark for me.

Yes, looking at it as though it's rising up towards the surface of the sea..

I honestly can't see anything else but a shark on a poster.
