Its a pdf. You only need acrobat reader. This is free.

Or there are various generic bits of software that will also read pdf's

Which version do you have?

IIRC, older versions didn't have Printing enabled for the Free prog.

Also, you can "upgrade" to v5.

Remove and reinstall.


Edit: Just checked and it isn't our Reader(s) at fault - greyed out here too.

Just noticed it is a secured PDF with printing disabed. Need a good PDF unlocker. Found one but explorer warned me against downloading.

Other .pdf's aok.

Right-clicked on file and altered security settings, but still won't alter permissions.

Still pondering.


Edit: Print error gives message confirming incorrect permissions ............. but I've checked and they are the same as other .pdf's which will print!

Delved further and it seems that "Mick" (Author) has jobbed it upon creation.

Hello, can someone guide me in the right direction. I've got 3 motorised dishes, 5 sat receivers (one for each room) and several original broadcaster cards for 28.2E, 19.2E and 13E, 4 in total. Can I set up an intranet card sharing for my home only, so that anyone in any room in the house can watch any channel on any satellite regardless of what is being watched elsewhere in the house?
I suspect the first thing that will be pointed out to me is that there is no need for the motors when there is 3 dishes that can each point to one satellite each, correct?
The next question is probably, where did you get all the hardware? Well I picked them up on my travels but the boxes are all Dreamboxes but not sure if any are clones or not, all work. I’ve got a DM800se on the way also, original of course.
Once I get setup and working maybe I’ll even share with my mates but don’t want to share anything until I know it is 100% working with good uptime.

SO WHAT TO DO NEXT, PLEASE HELP!!!

Yes you can, although it'll need a fair bit of cabling, disecq switches etc. You need individual cable feeds to each receiver from each dish.




As for the sharing part well read, read more, & then read some more.

As you have 28E in your system we wont give any direct help with the card sharing as we cant be seen to be helping defraud the UK's biggest pay tv provider.

All the info you require for that can be found on the forum - a week or so of head scratching and several hours intensive reading will probably give you a good grounding in what you need to do.

im new to all this im looking to set up sat system many off my friends have dream boxes on the hard wired system i can only use sat as we live in new build and they have not layed any network down, i have just read your tutorial and im intrested i have tried to do some research with google but but it seems to be in short hand lol. and im going round in circles.
is tutorial the latest version of iformation i will need on the best box dishes,software and tweaks, basically is there anyone out there who will take me under thier wing and point me in the right direction
