I found one of the - later - desktop ones in a charity shop at the weekend , boxed with manual, complete apart from the battery cover.

It works, the programming command structure is almost identical to the coding my daughter learnt on an Apple app a couple of years ago.

So I did a little digging, and there are a few sites that deal with the taking apart and adapting the original buggy to do stuff the manufacturer didn't have time for.
