Blunderwoman comedy star Bella Emberg has died at the age of 80, her agent has announced.

Emberg found fame in the 1980s, appearing in a host of iconic television shows ranging from Doctor Who the Lily Savage Show.

But she will be most remembered for her spoof superhero character in a comedic partnership with Russ Abbot as "Cooperman & Blunderwoman".

Yes but to the media he was not politically correct and viewed as a pariah. Indeed his fellow comedian Ben Elton said the following about him:-

P.S. Don't even get started on PC brigade and the fact I should have handed myself in at my local cop shop because I willfully watched and laughed at the Benny Hill show........I suppose "It ain't half hot mum" is also enough to get me branded a closet racist?
