Just got off the phone from British Telecom after cancelling my Broadband, Telephone and BT Sports.
After trying to cancel everything for the last two days, being passed on from one gormless idiot onto another i have now been told i have to pay a £30 disconnection charge because i have gone to Virgin to get away from their sh*te speeds and abysmal customer service which is usually in the form of somebody from the other side of the world who can just about grasp the English language. Its the final insult for me and makes me wonder why they haven't figured out why when they lose a customer they don't ever come back.
This is one thing that is hidden right at the bottom in the depths of the contract at the very bottom in the smallest possible font they could find. Just a word of warning to anybody that is considering going to this useless so called Telecoms company. DONT!!!
I will be taking up this abysmal service with their complains department although i'm not banking on getting anything back from them what so ever other than more insults.
Its annoying that you can't even take your frustrations out on a phone box as there aren't any At least i can remove all the BT wiring from within the borders of my property
I've dealt with a lot of ISPs and phone companies and without a doubt BT have been the worst hands down. If i do end up paying it, their getting at a £1 a week.
