Well, at least somebody else who can receive this band. I know there had not been any info published so far on this web site... Sometimes there`s too much to do and not enough time.
I hope admin will not mind an external link just to show that this band is/has been actively monitored.

Code:
http://forum.dxtv.de/wbb/thread.php?threadid=20838

By the way is the model/manufacturer of the lnb used a secret?

Link coded

So ..I take it the extended C is only really used for data ??
Or have you found any exotic broadcast or feeds up there ?

Yes, this is it, only DATA found until now, FYI, the channel reported on Flysat @ 53°E doesn't exist or has left quickly (4280 R)...
Probably a fake: a promo in C band extended and also in 32APSK ... (I am not convinced).

4280 R must be a typo, 4200...4500 is not allocated to satellite.

Nothing to report i'm afraid, iv'e seen it here for a while now but can not get a lock on it . My Openbox S3 Mini HD rx captures it without any problem but that's as far as it goes.

This is the one i use on my 2.2 PF Elite antenna. It's the most cost effective for me and it covers 95% of the domestic C-band coverage range.... ie: 3.6 - 4.8 GHz but is a compromise. It lacks the very bottom end ie: 3.400 - 3.600 GHz area, performance is pretty good over all it's frequency coverage range but not as good as a dedicated 3.4 - 4.2 GHz unit or a dedicated 4.5 - 4.8GHz unit. With these downsides in mind it really needs to be paired up with a dish size of at least 2.4m but ideally a larger size, 3mtr or so to get the most out of what's available to receive.... which ain't a fat lot - but things new do pop up every now and then. Other units are available from SMW etc but are far more expensive.

There is a possibility of a well known manufacturer of PLL C Band LNBs bringing out an extended version this year. In fact it already exists but has been produced under contract and they are unable to sell any similar product until this summer.

40.5°W nothing really new
Cinelive ID instead of NET on 4641 L

4770 L SR is now 50000 16APSK 4/5 (not locked)

edit: tested with CM Feedhorn, not so bad ...
