Somewhere in England (possibly?)!
OTOH, maybe I (we?) have other options, including browser plugins with which those ads could be "limited" in their effects - without affecting, too much, the "income" which those ads bring to the forum?

FWIW,
- I'm using FireFox (updated semi-automatically),
- TBH, I also have the same "issue" on several other forums - so, maybe, it's a FF-specific problem?

TBH, I've pretty much now had "totally enough" of those ads which are taking up more screen space (and on other sites as well) than all the actual site content - "enough IS enough"!:(

Thus, tomorrow, I'm going to set Firefox to block ads on all sites including this one, but then donate by PayPal to help the site funds.:) - What others do is however up to them!

I use Ad Killer Plus on most sites but avoid using it on forums. They need the revenue but I often notice some links posted by members get blocked by Ad killer Plus because this is in the script. ||doubleclick.net^

Use uBlock Origin rather than ABP.

Far, far better.

We get rid of an awful lot of undesirable content through the anti-Spam and other measures already available to us.

These rogue adverts aren't messages from spammers as such, but carp arising off-site through Google Ads and other annoyances.

I work with a satellite company to create edutainment content, and I thought this forum might be interested in the content but I don't want to ruffle any feathers. Is there any rules for people posting content to share on this forum? I'd appreciate your insight.

Hi,

Thanks for vetting our stuff. Here are two recent videos I thought might be worth sharing:
, and
. We plan on creating more educational content in the long run about Marconi, Waveguides and I thought this community might be interested. Let me know what you think.

Cheers

Quite the family indeed, especially when crossed with whiskey money. Recently a colleague was on holiday and taking pictures of Marconi's monument in Alum Bay and people started to ask them about the experiments and the history of the landmark, and my colleague went from being on holiday to being a tour guide. We're working on a video about Alum Bay, I'll happily share it on the forums when it's ready but as I said, I don't want to ruffle any feathers and spam this site with content people aren't looking for. And please if you have any ideas, I'd love to know the kinds of things you would like to see.

What is your link, if any with the brands within the two YouTube links provided ?

If there is one, a greater number of forum members may have an interest in the less commercial side of the Group, in particular the LNBs currently in production, and perhaps those in the pipeline for 'extended' frequencies, or those outside of the Ku band.
Satellite receive dishes of any size are always of interest of course, as are the devices for steering them and connecting to the indoor kit.

I've worked for Global Invacom for the last 3 years. My role is Digital Content Producer; effectively making the videos. But I work with software developers, engineers, manufacturing etc. it's a good corporation for talking to people about any of your tech interests. We have this video:
. It shows our facility in the Philippines that assembles LNBs and the plan is to make videos about LNBs specifically in the future. I'll also ask around about things outside of the Ku band and extended frequencies.

Thought you might be interested to see the video on this subject now it's out:

I also made this video about how our antennas were made but wasn't sure where to share on the site:
