Help Required channel master 1.8m polarmount dimensions needed.

hi guys would anyone with this polarmount from the cm 1.8m offset dish be able to send me pictures and dimensions of the whole polarmount lentgth of steel and diameter etc
i really could do with your help as im going to fabricate one myself,but need the length diameter etc of the steel involved.

Unless I missed them we were awaiting images of what you have in the other thread to advise on the upgrade.

It could be something as simple as two steel plates (slightly larger than the distance between Andrew bolt holes ) some good quality threaded rod and 16 nuts.

yes,but im still interested in fabricating the cm polarmount for my 1.8m offset dish.
is there any where on the net i can get the full dimensions on the cm polarmount for the cm 1.8m offset dish.
or anyone on here with the polarmount that can give me all the dimensions and measurements with pics,would truly appreciate it.

ive not done anything yet with the irte polarmount.
which way would you go about extending the iret declination,how thick should the steel be.

A pertinent question, one of many

1) Why do you have an IRTE polarmount within your arsenal ?

because i bought the irte prime focus dish yrs ago and it came with that polarmount,the italians really knew how to manufacure stuff.
it really is over kill for a 1.2m prime focus irte light aluminium dish,that irte polarmount i reckon could easy handle a 2.4m dish no bother.

then i upgraded to a bigger dish,so the 1.2m irte has become redundant.

i persume you mean the irte polarmount being put on the cm 1.8m offset dish ye?.

well i do not have a welder,not that i think one is needed.
all i have is a drill and grinder not very clean tools to make a clean cut in a piece of steel for the gap you need in the steel to allow extended declination.
