Also other emirates in the UAE are apparently running their own coverage - among the channels visible on Hotbird, Sharjah TV is live from Al-Majaz Waterfront in Ash-Shariqah(aka Sharjah) and Abu Dhabi TV from a studio in Al-Mariyah Island in Abu Dhabi

That was quite a soundtrack from Dubai(I may be biased since I like music from that region). Wow!

Right now, Dubai TV is broadcasting fireworks from Dubai Frame. Note that traditionally fireworks at different sites have been timed separately, so not all start off at the full hour.
