Tried that about 1/2 hour ago - SWMBO "not impressed" again ("why can't we watch "normal channels" ) - but now cheating by linking my laptop to the TV to show "LIVE STREAM 2020.." when the "next hour comes around", as well as the "F*****g Putinesk" Moscow event via Rossiya from 13E on "real sat"

Couldn't see anything on Rossiya 24 on 13E, as indicated in the "Chasing Midnight 2020" list, so where did you see that?

It has been getting better over the last few years, it used to be much better. Tonight was an improvement even on last year.

Meanwhile in Latvia(which I think gives us run for the money in choir singing)... Just caught over the air via DVB-T. Basically dance music akin to what you'd hear on Latvijas Radio 2 all year long. Also love how Latvians appear to showcase their beautiful traditional clothing even on New Years Eve.
