Good afternoon from a sunny but chilly Mullion Cove Cornwall.

Would some kind soul remind me of the computer program, that will sort a satellite list out for the Technomate TM5402HD M3 C1 Super+

I should like to be able to add extra satellites, so that some can be duplicate on the satellite list, the first for KU and the second for C band.

It is not possible to add satellites into the list, I think they can be added at the end, but they are then out east west sequence.

I use the aerial switching in the Tecknomate menu, to feed separate VU boxes and dishes for KU and C band.

This can only be done once per satellite.

As it is I have renamed some but it is a mess : )

Alternately have any of the lists that are kindly up loaded included C band as well as KU ?

God Bless to all especially any members in Ukraine Spiff

Thank you Moon Base, Found it and downloaded : )
Do I connect direct to the receiver USB or RSJ somehow, or use the saved version on the USB plug in external drive ?

Just read about a null-modem cable, I beleive there are now USB types, I have an old USB network cable and wonder if that is one ?

i dont know the answer - but you can get USB -> Serial port cables

can you not download the existing list from STB to USB stick, take it to PC - do your edits, then upload from USB stick to STB?

1. Place usb stick in receiver.
2. Write satellite/channel list from receiver to usb stick
3. Remove usb stick from receiver
4. Place usb stick in PC
5. Open satellite/chanel list on usb stick with Clarke Tech editor
6. Edit satellite channel list
7. Save edited version
8. Remove usb stick from PC and place back in receiver
9. Flash edited channel list back to receiver

No need for any cables or the like, keep it simple.

Amazing I dragged and dropped all the C band sats down to the bottom of the sat list at far east.

Saved them as new, loaded them back up to the receiver and it worked.

Now I have the general idea so will rename and so on, maybe move them back next to their KU partner in the correct order : )

The C band ones were all over the place before.

Most grateful to both : )

When in "View Satellites" there is the option to sort the satellite list by the polar arc, it will place your satellites together that are present as both C-Band and Ku-Band.

When in "View Satellites" there is the option to sort the satellite list by the polar arc, it will place your satellites together that are present as both C-Band and Ku-Band.

A point of interest, as I had used satellites from a different East West position for C Band, it was necessary to rename them.

To change the position East or West which is displayed in the Technomate list on the receiver, it is necessary to alter the number top right in attached image.

I obtained the correct number from the KU band list

Changing the description or satellite name is done top left by just typing it in.
