I have an old Digital radio receiver that i used on Astra for DMX (digital music express) until it stopped broadcasting. Can i use this receiver for anything else. It's about 2 years old.

DMX was a pay-provider of what is generically known as ADR (Astra Digital Radio). And although DMX may have ceased, ADR continues as a format. It is very popular in Germany for example. Check out up-to-date transponder listings and you will find a number transmitting.

this last one gives a fairly up to date list of ADR programs.

I would have thought that you could use your DMX receiver to receive any free-to-air ADR broadcasts.
