Was posting a few photos in the storm thread and said I'd post a few more photos of my 'farm'. It is horrifically messy outside with me promising to tidy the cabling up for a while now, probably why I haven't ever posted too many photos - so forgive me for the mess.

The dish farm is about 100 meters from the house mainly due to line of sight issues and also not wanting them in the main part of my garden, so i have the following lines to the farm:

Fibre
1.8m Raven 16e
1.8m Raven Motorised
1.5m Gibby
1.2m 7e
1.2m Motorised
1.3m 10e

Coax
1.3m 0.8w
1.2m 28.2e 1
1.2m 28.2e 2
1.2m Motorised (for motor control only)
1m 13e
1m 22w

Eventually I need to get the motor setup for the 1.5m dish, right now it's fixed on 23.5e. Also the 0.8w dish is no longer in use, I ran out of fibre LNBs and it wasn't working great over the 100m Coax cables.

Final step is sorting the cabling in conduit and chucking probably bark or stones over the bases just to make it look a lot tidier.

Also I realise the 28.2e dish is no longer pointing that way.. Literally realised in the photo the storm must have caught it! Another thing to fix...

It's never finished, something is always broken...I feel like it would be a part time job just to maintain it

I like the way the Baird mount straddles two concrete pads.
Cement was in national short supply recently so a nice economy on sand, cement and ballast.

Ow, yea, this a messy dish farm, but I like it! But I have one question: if Raven 1.8m has 1800mm horizontal size of the working area, what is the horizontal size of the working area of the antennas pointed to 10*E and 0.8*W? Are they really 1.3m antennas or just 1.2m ones?

Bloody expensive stuff... I had like 2 pallets of bags come from Wickes and even that wasn't enough. I think this storm has proven it is quite enough weight to keep things down though.

They said they were according to the ebay listing all those years ago, Those dishes are about 5 meters infront of the Raven though so I wouldn't compare the two.

I actually messed up the location of the concrete pads for the main Raven, it ended up having to come forward a lot, but it's still bolted into each pad with 30cm concrete anchor bolts.

The motorised Raven had to come forward to see far east sats, which then blocked the 16e view of the other Raven.

I mean, are your 1.3m antennas having 1300mm horizontal size of the working area? Aren't they only 1.2m ones?

1400m x 1270mm according to the ebay email from 2017, never personally measured them

Then, I am afraid, it is physical size if the mirror. The real size of the working area of the dish will be something like 1200x 1350mm.

Aye I'm not too surprised considering the price of those 'unbranded' dishes. 0.8w you can pretty much get all the feeds with 1.2m anyway, 10e is a bit touch and go but if I can't get a good signal on a certain feed I just swing the 1.8m over.

Is your 1.5 meter Gibby for 23.5E wider than high? And the 6 bolts seem to be left of the center? Or is that all distortion, by the Photo?
