Somewhere in England (possibly?)!
whats planning permission?
Doesn't seem to mean a lot around here in some cases either:
- I reported houses with obvious new "beds in sheds garages" very close either side of the garage (and "dish farm" with the Gibby and TD110 "sticking up a bit" :D) at the end of my garden nearly 2 yrs ago to the local council, but they've done nothing about them since then .

- I can also see "several" likely similar buildings at the ends of the back gardens of the row of houses in the next parallel street, and at the backs of quite a few similar gardens around the area .

The only reason for them doing nothing that I can think of is that there is such a local shortage of rented accommodation that they decided that they won't do anything unless there are "multiple major and public" complaints - which presumably there have not been.

2 years ago I put camo netting over the Gibby, TD110 and a couple of other dishes in anticipation of housing/planning inspections of those garages - but I took most of it down last Summer because that "threat" seemed to have faded a lot :D .

I know someone who has a radio antenna in their front garden. It must be about four to five metres high. When he asked the council about planning permission, they did send an inspector our. All the inspector asks was where it was going to be installed and said "that's fine".

Remember that old joke back in the 80s/90s. What’s those boxes attached to the back of the satellite dishes. Answer. Council houses.

I don't know for you, but since I arrived in my new house 2 years ago and started installing antennas.
It was the last 2 of 1m20 that triggered the most questioning and fear ...

Why ?
Is it dangerous ?
Is he a Russian spy ?
Is he a terrorist ?

So I can't even imagine for you ... :)
