A long shot, but does anyone here hava a link to the operating manual for one of these receivers ?

I have a customer this week that has one and it's not receiving FTA channels from their dish (though the Astra dish they have gives German SD content with their old SCART box).

If they are a clone of another make / model then advice gratefully received.

Thanks

I have seen the GiSpark(2) mentioned online, is that the one ?

Which Amiko model, or are they all the same wrt menu operation ?

I could of course find it is hardware failure, but knowing the machine before I go there will help.

Not a problem

I went over today and the receiver, whilst well specified on the rear panel (it also has front panel buttons and a third USB port next door), the menu system is very reminiscent of the Freesat V7 box I had to look at last year. I suppose they all have some basic origin back in central China, along with the drop ship resellers.

It required a full rest to factory conditions before the HDMI output would start up, I was able to check the osg via the included RCA cabling and the component output on the rear. There was also an odd smell from the receiver cover so these might have issues if locked in a cabinet.

Oddly there is no ethernet port on the rear, despite the menu structure suggesting it can be hard wired for updates. As it has no internal wlan aerial either I would need one of those USB adapter dongles which was not present at the client's property.

Update

I returned yesterday to site to add more channels and I now see that the additional menus that are present for the card reader are reminiscent of the Openbox V9 that I played with last year, with some omissions.

The firmware of this one is dated 2014 and the Dynavision.tv manufacturer's site does not list this model in their inventory, so the V9 might be derived from this (and built somewhat cheaper, the DL-300 is all metal construction with quite a few more rear connections) , but the Openbox has the built in wifi antenna.
