Eutelsat 7A is moving west

Eutelsat 7A has had several station keeping duties in the last few months the last one was for Turksat 5A 31 east due to launch soon.

So 7A may become Eutelsat 12D @ 12.5 west in a few weeks time ?
12.5 west used to Broadcasts feeds to Europe & the USA see the frequency plan below for this satellite.
this will assist you in finding active transponders.

These are the footprints for 7A when it was @ 7 east,
If the priority is to serve the USA the footprint may be stretched across the Atlantic or the beam aimed at the America's we will have to wait & see ?

Eutelsat 12 West D has almost arrived for 6 months geostationary orbit then inclined for a few months until Eutelsat 12 West E arrives it could be one of these:-
Hotbird 13B,Hotbird 13C,Hotbird 13E after the successful launch of Hot Bird 13F/13G,
Or Eutelsat 10A after the successful launch of Eutelsat 10B

Eutelsat 12 West D has arrived @ 12.5 west no activity showing atm,

Updated TLE's keep coming that have 7A continue drifting West.
Mix-ups happen but at this stage it's unusual.
The latest TLE yesterday evening had 7A at 14.4°W drifting 1.1°W/day.
Maybe @Marcus_21 can find TT&C signals?

@hvdh I think it is around 15W which agrees with TLE. However, I'm using the X band system which has indeterminate polarisation at Ku, is a bit deaf above 9GHz and has large side-lobes (apart from that it's fine!). I can see TT&C at 11699.8MHz and multiple carriers around 11200MHz. There don't appear to be any other satellites in those frequency ranges at 15W. I can't see anything on 11700.4 and 12500.5MHz is way above the system's operating frequency.

I confirm the TLE, it is already over 12,5°W (about 15,5°W).

As 7A is mainly needed for transatlantic feeds so it is more than possible that the final destination will be 20 west or 24.5 west,
Maybe 12.5 west has gone on the back burner due to the possible launch of Express-AMU4 to 11 west next year.
