There have been a few discussions about skew. I'm not sure how widely it's known but most Eutelsats have a clockwise skew offset of 3.535 degrees. This document has a list in Annex 1 and some heavy maths to explain it.
3 degrees is enough to cause a significant reduction in SNR if there is a co-channel transponder on the opposite polarisation.
