Dayglo Bovver Wellies sounds about right but apparently they are Bottega Veneta 'The Tire' Chelsea boots:
Brilliant value at £905 o_O
I'd have said around £9 & 5p down the local "Poundland-type" shop

If they are corrective shoes that improve braking performance at restarts near the end of a race it'd be money well spent

MBC Action on 7W, though you will need a big dish as it's on the NW Africa beam.

FTA is apparently also transmitted to Türkmenistan sports, 53 ° East. I receive it with an 85 cm dish and the KU / KA Band LNB

Was it on Turkmenistan Sports? Whenever I've checked in the past it's always been showing some random amateur sport from a gym.

Did you really mean 53E because I can't see that listed on any transponder shown on Lynsat? If so then which transponder?

OTOH there is a Turmenistan Sports channel on 12203/V/27500 on 52E - and it seems much more likely that you will get that on a 85cm dish (you can in the UK).

Was out for a Fathers' Day lunch with the family, came back and waited a couple of hours until Stepson & Stepdaughter left and then went to watch the recorded race -> "static breakthrough" on the recordings - and later found to also be there on all "live" broadcasts on many (all?) the other Sky channels. In the end I skip-watched the GP with Subtitles turned on to see what happened.

Then, having "tried everything" via the SKY box R/C, I turned the AV amp on, and, voila, "normal (audio) service" now resumed on live and recorded programmes. Turned the AV amp off, and, voila again, "normal (audio) service" still working - and now I have no ff'ing idea what "happened" as I haven't physically touched the TV, SKY box, AV amp (through which the SKY box feeds to connect to the TV) or any of the connecting cables!

ANYONE have any idea as to WTF happened here?

Anyway, back to the race itself, I can only agree with Ozumo's post #70 - Mercedes strategy lost them the race (and probably the fastest lap points for Valteri & the team) AGAIN!!!!!!:-doh

On my Sky multiroom box (595?) I get crackly audio on Talksport channel 0108. If I leave it on for a few days it disappears, but then the crackles appear on other channels. They soon disappear and then only affect Talksport again :confused

Mercedes were hoping Perez was going to get a 5s penalty for running off the track after passing Bottas, but Perez was able to pull a big enough gap anyway.

...
If it was only one channel (to which I wouldn't be listening anyway) then I wouldn't be worried that much, but it happened on every live channel and recorded programme - and then totally disappeared when I switched the AV ON, used it and then switched it off again!

I can only speculate that there "might" be a slightly loose HDMI connection somewhere at/between the SKY box, the AV amp and/or the TV - apart from that possibility &/or an intermittent fault in one of those units, then I have no idea of why that all happened. :confused

OTOH, whilst I haven't previously experienced this problem with the lounge system, I have had it happen very occasionally with the "office" system - which is a totally separate one, and doesn't use the Zone 2 dish for the lounge - and, even then, it only seemed to happen on some channels on ASTRA 2.

It's also "strange" that no-one else seems to have experienced (or at least reported) similar issues - maybe we have a mysterious "transmitter" of some sort in the very close locality, or else there's a humanoid alien communicating with the "home world" and he/she/"it" has not been "spotted" so far (we have a very wide ethnic mix in this area, and so it would be difficult to spot him/her/"it"!)?

FWIW, the "noise" was a regular staccato sound like a data stream rather than random noise

Disaster for both my drivers, a terribly meagre accumulation of points this week
I had Gasly in most of my teams including one with both Gasly and Russell :-doh How Leclerc didn't get penalised for causing Gasly's flat tyre I do not know.

Same here in two of my teams it's sacrilege, he should have had some sort of a penalty for being so inept
