Absolute farce from start to finish. If they know the weather is going to be bad, why do they insist on starting the race at 3pm local time and not bring it forward :confused

They may as well get rid of the full-wet tyres, whenever the conditions dictate they're needed they don't let them race anyway.

I see there's a discussion on the PFRL forum about whether the race points should be deleted or awarded as half points. I have no real opinion either way (unless you give Lewis full points LOL).. Any thoughts?

Scrap it. That was the biggest farce Ive ever seen in 40 or so years of following F1. I thought USA 2006 was the nadir of the sport but this takes it to a whole new level.

The decision to "run" 2 laps was obviously money driven for contractual obligations

I think the fairest way is to just give the points as set out in the rules. However I would also accept Lewis getting full points :-lol

I see there's also chatter that as the classified results were taken from the end of lap one, officially two laps weren't completed and therefore half points shouldn't be awarded.. and Mazepin might lose his fastest lap :-ohmy :-doh

Couldn't they have hooked everyone up to a simulator and run the race that way?.....or Scalextric?

I hope that's the case though wouldn't Alfa Romeo prefer/need a pay-driver?

I think Ferrari will want someone from their driver program in one of the Alfa seats.

Im watching the Dutch race live on Turkmen Sport 52E. For an HD channel the technical quality is appaling. The channekl runs at about 60% normal speed & every 10 seconds "skips" 6 seconds of action.

However seeing as the race is spectacularly dull I dont think Im missing much :D

I liked the track, very old school with its gravel traps and lack of tarmac run off, though I found it tiring to watch, too frantic maybe. Perhaps the new regulations will allow closer racing next year. I was surprised there were no safety cars or red flags, Kubica also impressed.

Had my best ever points total, hopefully that means my mid-season slump is over

Congratulations to wobbles for winning fastest lap

Yes, there's also a North Eastern phrase...."a good looking nowt"....
Looks like I've been fooled by a good looking (Mercedes driving) nowt again :(
