Hi there,

For a neighbour i am trying sell a Fibo dish antenna, She is an old lady who had the dish for more than 15 years useless on her attic. I posted the dish on a dutch forum for satelite hobbyists to ask them what reasonable price i could ask for this dish. Link. Wie helpt (leek) met waardebepaling? - Schotelpark - Sat4all As you can see, there are 2 small dents wich makes the dish useless according to the first reply from an of the forum operators. There are indead 2 small dents. I personalle think that these dents would not effect the signal but means only some loss of dishsurface. I would sincerely appreciate an honest opinion from you. I really have zero experience with the subject. Thanks in advance.
By the way, I live in the Netherlands. I think you folks would not have interest in buying.

Looks a pretty good dish to me and certainly not useless. Do you know what size the big dish is (horizontally)?

A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

I do not recall the 90cm version having any exposed bolts on the reflector surface, it used a tripod cast item on the rear that was riveted.

But it has been such a long time since I worked with one.

It looked fairly large in the photo and that confirms it. You have a 1.2m dish there.

Certainly not a useless dish. Would consider that myself only the shipping from the Netherlands might be a killer...

Cant see any serious dents there ... and with great care they can often be pressed or gently tapped out ... more important is that the dish is not warped/buckled at all ... and as it looks unused , its probably fine i that regard too....
The motor /mount may have stuck or gone a little stiff from not being used but should be nothing that a squirt of WD 40 penetrating spray would not sort out ... it all looks pretty good to me :)
New years day is fairly quiet here on the forum ... probably more reply,s will come along later or tomorrow.

We do have a goodly number of Members resident in the Netherlands, so it might be worth advertising in our Classifieds.

Hi @Romeo-Charlie , welcome to the Forum and happy New year. That is nice dish our neighbor has. 2 small dents will not do any bad to the performance of this Fibo 120. As I've mentioned on another forum, the dish costs exactly so much how much a potential seller is ready to pay for it. For the dish, in the condition as it is, your neighbor can start to ask 200EUR and if somebody is interested she can go down to 100-150 EUR.
