On mobile the floating menu bar that stays at the top of the page robs already limited screen space, with no real benefit.

Removing the animations has made a world of difference

TBH, not about this thread but about the @chris changes to the forum today because - at least for me! - some of the most recent threads appear to have totally disappeared unless I click on alert emails that appeared in my PC's email Inbox!

Only if I click on those to view them, can I actually see the content (such as the above one from @a33) because if I then try to view "New Posts" then they are not there - NOR is the "Administration" thread in which IIRC @chris posted that he had updated the forum earlier!

Edited: Frankly, this is "a bit chaotic" as some new posts are appearing in "New Posts" whilst others are not, and that includes this reply that I posted in this particular thread after I posted this "Edited" comment!

THUS, and in particular, @chris needs to warn us beforehand that he is planning to do major forum updates BEFORE he actually does them!

Problems with jpeg files not being seen now.
I can see them in edit but nobody else can,
You fixed this yesterday Chris/Admin so please fix again.

Just managed to re-insert some images on a post by Spiff, they are there, just need re-inserting, bit of a pain if it has to be done on all older posts though
