Help Required Gibertini from Abroad

Anybody knows why Gibertini dishes are not available on Amazon is it the aftermath of Brexit

Looks like you can still order them from Amazon.de . Once the border shenanigans settle down I think things will get back to normal.

I was also going to suggest looking on Amazon.de or Amazon.fr and then see if the vendor will ship to the UK.

I have read that many small firms in the EU are specifically excluding the UK due to the myriad extra costs that they have to pay now that the UK is outside the common market. If true then, unless barriers are renegotiated, I don't think things will get back to normal. You may also have to pay import duty, UK VAT and any service charge levied by the carrier of the item. This will be the new normal.

Yes someone told me that he have to pay import duty for his item ordered from Europe

Oh wow, so much for "tariff-free trade"! Giants like Amazon will sort out the paperwork and financials for you when you buy, but for other smaller shops it seems like a right faff. Import duty is due on anything over £135.

It’s all messed up even our PM is confused that what’s up next

From what I could work out using the gov tariff checker, things like receivers and dishes should not be subject to import duty. However VAT at 20% is added (I assume you don't pay the VAT equivalent of where the vendor is located).

Working out the commodity codes and doing the paperwork for every item is presumably why shops like HM-Sat have pulled their goods from Amazon UK.

I see Reichelt no longer has Ireland in their list of shipping destinations, so the issues are not only from this end.
