Help Needed to get my Octagon SF8008 Set up to move to different satellites when selected please thanks, please see my screenshots below, i have my dish/motor alighted to 0.8w and have strong signal and quality, now i need help inorder to know what to do to get my dish to move to different satellites if you know how to do this on this device (Octagon SF8008) please let me know asap thanks

Line of sight you have
In uk usually 100cm dish can receive signal from
60 east To 60 west approximately

i have great line of sight, im using a 100cm sat dish and motor which is attached to pole in the ground, i have it aligned correctly, its at position 0.8w atm and want to get my octagon sf8008 to move it to different satellites when selecting them can help with that please? like what part do i select to get the dish to move to a different satellite on the octagon ? please post screenshotss/videos showing your settings thanks
heres a pic of my dish (taken from my cctv camera) (near but not infront of my dish) so i can keep an eye on it, need help with settings on octagon sf8008 only please

First of all, have you verified the dish does move away from 0.8W and back again when you reset the motor to true south ?

King's Lynn is more or less 0.4 East, not 0.8.

i can move it to other positions using dvbdream as of yet im still trying to work out how to get my octagon sf8008 to move to different satellites its at 0.8w at the moment, what do u mean kings lynn is more or less than 0.4 east not 0.8? should i change it to 0.4 east then? can u help to get my sf8009 set up inorder to move to different satellites please??

No it isnt in the sea lol, kings lynn, all i need to know is what settings to change to get the dish to move to different satellites on the sf8008 thats it the dish is aligned correctly thats all u need to know please help with what settings i need to change thanks!

I have done that, then what do i do to get it to move to different satellites? Using what option do i use to select a different satellite? Do i change it from advanced to simple? and do i input the sat frequency in the positioner setup menu under goto?

Hi, if everything is set up correctly on motor & receiver, i use advanced and configure one satellite to use either diseqc 1.2 or usuals, the rest of satellites i want will use the first setting saved. Reboot the receiver and select from channel list the satellite you want to move to. Diseqc 1.2 you need to save each position manually, usuals not needed.

I'm at work atm, so can't give some screens, for usuals in tuner page set lnb to lnb1 for all satellites you choose, for diseqc 1.2 in postioner page save each position manually, if i remember correctly.

thanks ill try that now, and thanks for the screenshots, my screenshots have a different long and lat on it because i dont want people knowing my exact location, but when im not posting on here i correct them to my long and lat btw my default satelliteim positioned to is 0.8w
i have done all that

yes its single, ok still not getting signal on signal finder but i am able to watch normal tv how does that work? its not liking me for some reason still need help please from the beginning step by step

if you have a diseqc motor you have to set it .
it it a usuals model ?
if you have still done it , so select advanced in tuner menu and affect a sat number in this menu
