A simple question
Using an HEVC capable FTA sat receiver ,will I "see" the picture if my TV set is from a pre-HEVC era?
Panasonic says pre-2015 sets are NOT HEVC capable
Does me,wanting to watch HEVC signals mean I ALSO need a newer tv set?
Mine is a Panasonic TX L42ET60E,(made in 2013)
Just wondering,the set I have works really fine.

My Satellite Setup
Raven mk2 zone 2 x4, Channel Master: 90cm x3, 1.2m x2, 1.8m PF. CM polar mount x2, Az/El x3.

South Durham
It will work. It would only be an issue if you were trying to view HEVC content using the televisions own apps or from an SD card or USB.
