Just Googled for hirschmann CSA 850A and found one for under £10 (although probably not someone I'd buy from), most other places are special order.

If you are in the trade, Alltrade Watford and Maidstone branches have them in stock.

thankyou for having the decency to reply as i get the feeling on here that its a little we know everthing and you know nothing and not very welcoming.. but maybe im wrong? i think i know that site you refere to but he,s trade only now also, you would think that those feedhorns would me more widespread what with triax dishes being so popular.. i have a spare gibby off-set KU feedhorn.. do you know if that would be usuable on a triax td110 off-set dish, regards mdt

Don't think that's the case at all, the staff and members actively encourage new and inexperienced members, however, you are asking a question about a particular feedhorn, one which i have to say I've never used or seen and probably a similar case for most other members.

The only way I could provide and answer was to Google the product, but have you considered using an Inverto Black Ultra LNBF? This will probably perform better than the combination you are considering and be cheaper. Several of our forum advertisers supply this LNB.

just an update on my quest... i orded 3 from the said supplier for under a tenner and all in incuding delivery it came to £36.55 thats £6 less than the price of 1 from the superstore... just a thought on how much some suppliers try to/rip us enthusiasts/installers off. regards mdt
