Hi,

Would anyone please be able to help in the identification of some two core cable types?
I need to buy replacement cabling and knowing the name/type would save time looking up cable specs.

The grey outer sheath cable looks like the inner cores are accompanied by two braided fine string cores, all covered with a clear plastic wrapping?
On the outside of the the clear plastic wrapping there is a silver coloured braid.

The black outer sheath cable has the two inner cores wrapped in a clear plastic wrapping with a copper braid on the outside of the clear plastic.

Both cables are used outdoors but in flexible protective hose fittings

Somewhere in England (possibly?)!
Does that really matter?
As long as the general construction, materials and current-carrying capacity are similar, I doubt that any slight differences will affect what is, after all, probably just a pair of DC-only ccts operating at around +/-36V. In fact, I suspect that simple 2-core cable with only an overall screen would probably work just as well in most cases.
