Is anyone surprised the bbc3 viewing figures are poor?

I've not heard of the 8.30 programme before, a comedy ?
Unfortunately the schedule has been updated and the half hour respite has been replaced by:

20:30 Eating with My Ex Series 4 - Celebrity Specials, Episode 2

National broadcasters in many countries around the world are feeling the pinch these days. They are caught between a rock and a hard place. Who is willing to wait for six Tuesdays in a row at 9pm to watch what can be seen in one six hour box set binge. Terrestrial TV is dying a slow death. I imagine costs at the BBC are gone through the roof with little or no return in sight. Once quality fibre optic becomes the norm worldwide I imagine sat tv will follow suit and with it most of the old reliable TV stations. Amateur back bedroom broadcasting is within reach of many now and who knows what channels we will be watching I’m years to come if we are still around to watch them.

The events near Tonga this week confirm satellite communications will remain a viable medium for quite some time.

Then there's rural North Yorkshire, of course.

Up here, Fibre is what we consume to keep regular.

Forgot to add, presumably if they ever regionalise BBC ONE, THREE will move to 115 and BBC ONE SD will be shuffled off to 801.

However with upcoming budget restraints and the current culture secretary I can see regionalised BBC ONE HD being one of the first victims of the cull.
