...and gone for the Triple Dragon :D

Will I be sent packing from this section? :confused
Despite the superb amount of knowhow posted by the Dreamers here, and the dearth of information available at present for the TD, I'm willing to sacrifice my sanity and go for it.
Will keep you informed of my progress (or lack of it).

No way!

Look forward to expanding into loads of info on another receiver, we may all decide to change.

Let us know how you get on.

What can I say. Backup your sanity now before it arrives. You can use SanityBackupRestore V2.1 Pro, which allows multi cerebellum boot without overwriting the output from the Basal ganglia.

cbell1.gif

You should also get your Motor neuron 1.2 plugin with GOTO.BED

Don't forget to check the polarity (as above) or you will fry your thalamus.

And you don't want to do that. :D

You must already have that little certificate from the men in white coats, it comes as a standard plug in with every dreambox, doesn't it?

For Dreambox, read Triple Dragon :p

Just arrived today, and it's a big machine - the same size as the old Echostar LT8700. Not sure if it's going to fit in with my other stuff.

I'm in the process of checking out its basic functions. No manual supplied (?) but I've found an English version to download.

Will be hopefully setting up a Network in due course.

I suppose we ought to add Triple Dragon to the section then Llew. :)

Problem is that I think you will be Billy no mates for a while. ;)

Yes, I think i might be ploughing a lonely furrow here, and starting with a cleen sheet (he said, mixing his metaphors :)) but I'm sure I can pick up a few tips from you Dreamer guys.

Hopefully there'll be some other TD users eventually.

I think you'll find the DB and the TD remarkably similar, at least logically. Should even use the same s*ftcams?

BTW, looking back at my earlier pic, I now think that through squinted eyes it looks like a woman tying her shoelace... ({})

Why do people take out one letter from the link is this some unexplained etiquette or is there an actual purpose to this. If you do this with http then explorer auto puts back the correct letters as in h**p but if you put w*w then explorer does not understand as indeed I do not. Is there a purpose
Does it clog up the forum or what????

My understanding is that live links hog the bandwith of the site where as if you are forced to cut/pate to a new window it doesn't.

I suspect this is yet another case of this. The bandwidth of the forum should not be compramised by a link within the forum if the network is correctly set up. (no offence Chris Head Honcho I am not talking from experience just logic) The link is only an address which instructs the user's browser to open that page and the bandwidth is taken up by the PC accessing that address not by the forum.
Going back to the original thread would Llew care to explain what a triple Dragon is to us mere mortals???

My understanding of the link editing is so that the HTML that makes up the page cannot be crawled by bots, indexing and logging hyperlink relationships (even if there is no robot.txt, or <META NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="NOINDEX, NOFOLLOW"> is ignored) and thus creating unwanted linkages and generating big fat reports full of nasty stuff, which then lands on some task force executive's desk.

But I might be wrong.

A Tripple Dragon is an expensive Dreambox with little or no software. :D

Oooohh, ONLY JOKING!!!!
