Swiss pay tv service Kabelio have launched a new service.The channels are currently fta but expect them to encrypt in the near future. All channels have the following transmission characteristics and are general entertainment channels unless otherwise noted. Some of the channels are rather dark atm, no doubt that will be sorted out at some point

Strange about those packages : One can reach the channels but cannot buy the packages. I can reach many frequencies on Hotbird but not a single package is available to buy from where I am located. Broadcasted by satellite to many countries but cannot be bought except in Poland for example. Many Polish stations on Hotbird.

Some packages can be bought outside their intended area, but tend to be expensive as you are using resellers.

For example TV Corner in France sell quite a few packages - Ive has BIS France cards off them in the past, but they sell all sorts of stuff. (Some require registration or documentation from the intended country so read the rules carefully!)

I just scroll the free news channels and TV5 Monde with English subtitles and Arte and KBS World and RAI storia.
The news are on Aljazeera, Euronews ( Russians abroad watch Euronews in Russian), NHK World, CGTN, CNC, TRT World, Press TV, Deutsche Welle, BBC World News, VOA....
