I think my wife's dwarf sunflower (she bought it about 3 months ago:() had around 6-7 flowers before the "hot weather! (remember that?) we had a 2-3 weeks ago - so you'd have to very careful about the "rules" for a competition like that!

Why? if it was bought it was not grown and previously shown on the forum

Our tallest one has peaked at around 8ft something. It will be measured one of the evenings - its probably the tallest one we have grown :D .

At 8foot 7inches this is the tallest sunflower we have ever grown :D

(The blue pole is the mount for the adsb aircraft tracking antenna for those of you who take my aircraft data)

Sadly the growing season is over up here. There was a frost on the car last week, the missus is busy harvesting the garden & allotment produce and chutney & jam production is in full swing from the fruits we have gathered.

Goodness knows what the final scoreboard is, but KOTS 2021 will open up in early March.
