Is that the five days eating normally and two days of fasting diet?

I suspect so Paul it is all the rage, but I have not tried it yet a friend of my wife's has been on that diet for five or 6 month now and has lost shedloads of weight in the region of nearly two stone

Also picked up a tip from someone on an ex pat forum who suggested using a smaller plate.....sounds a bit silly or even obvious but it does work.....

The only problem I have with weight is the lack of it, no matter what I eat I can't put weight on, I am just over 6ft and weigh around 12st, but I do try to eat healthy most of the time.

Part of the extensive reconstruction surgery I underwent between 2000 and 2003 involved gory apparatus which enabled me to restore about three inches of "lost" (Military Service) height from my left femur.

I can laugh about it now, but it shaded Gout by a long, long way.

Just got back from a late and extended lunch with English friends who have a second home here. Both born and bred in Yorkshire, so we had Yorkshire puddings as a first course, then roast lamb, mash, veggies and more Yorkshires and apple crumble for afters.....it's supposed to be my diet day too...

@Steve Steve : My local supermarket stocks Pukka Pies though I'm not that desperate to purchase one at about twice the price you would pay in the UK. An English butcher has opened a shop in my local town too, which the ex pats will no doubt support until they decide meat is meat and you can buy something cheaper in the supermarket....I do fancy a pork pie though LOL

Or until the realise he is supplying the same meat as the French butchers and the only thing English about the shop is the bloke running it and the prices :-rofl2

As herself is not due home until after 7pm, I are mostly been eating Cheese/Onion and Cheese/Tomato Toasties for tea.

Edit: Just made a second round and ran out of Edam, so I made one half with Camembert (and Onion) >>>> It was absolutely delicious. A revelation, in fact.

Slightly larger trays then (Or a tiny bit less batter): I used to use Bun-sized ones, but find the very best are Muffin Trays.
Thank you G :), worked a treat, next shelf down next time/turn oven down a little :).

Yep, I think those will be perfect next time.

Mind you, SWMBO likes those extra crunchy tops, whereas I prefer a soggy bottom.
