Skewed dish Triax TD 110, from left to right:
twin 45°East FTA
quad 39°East FTA
quad 33°East Multistream FTA
single 28°East FTA
Feel free to copy the idea in UK.
I'm a fan of fast sweeching betwin 15 satellites ( from 6 dishes ) and I use 3 DiSEqC 16/1 for 3 TVs in my house.

Nicely made! :)

I guess aligning the dish (finding your central satellite) is a bit of a hassle, skewed like this? Have you got a trick for that?

Or did you manage to set the skew-axis plate perpendicular to boresight (satellite direction), as is usually the case with multifeed dishes, if I understand correctly?

Ah another fan of fast switching - I cba to wait for a motorised system to switch between far east & far west hence the weird & wonderful sysytems Ive rigged over the years in the 2 locations Ive lived.

Previously, this dish was in the same place. 51,5°E - 45°E - 39°E

Seeing how big the inclination of the three LNB is, for the new dish I decided to skew it.
First I found the central satellite, then I skewed the dish. Before the LNB for 39°E was in the center, because the bulgarian multistream was on it. When the MIS moved to 33°E, I changed the cables from 39 to 33 and from 45 to 39 and I turned the dish to have 33 in the center. So, now the skew of the dish is not exactly like it should be, but it works. Anyway the skew of the converters is set for maximum performance.

You're right, but remains limited to x satélites.

You can connect 32 satellites to 4K sat receiver with twin DVB-S2X tuner and 2 DiSEqC 16/1.
Every 50" TV has at least 2 HDMI inputs, so, 2 receivers x 32 = 64 satellites.

If you go "multi-focus antenna way" than using 2-3 of them is possible to cover whole arc.

It's a good idea, despite the costs.

Firstly, if you buy second hand T90s, looking for bargain, of course, than expenses can be minimized to reasonable amount. And, secondly, who cares if we speak about hobby! :D

You're right, but remains limited to x satélites.
If you combine diseqc 1.1 with diseqc 1.0 ('position' and 'option' command), you can switch 16 x 4 = 64 LNBs.

Some 8/1 switches (and maybe also 16/1 switches? I've no experience with those) can also switch on diseqc 1.2 commands.
Combine that with diseqc 1.0 and 1.1, and you can switch 512 LNBs (or even 1024, with a 16/1 switch?).

Of course, if your receiver supports a 0/12V switch, you can again double that amount. But, alas, in that case a 0/12 volt cable should be added somewhere; so that would not be via just one cable (the antenna cable).

Limited to hundreds of satellites...?
To me that is fine... (I have just 4 fixed LNBs plus 1 at the motor, at the moment....) :)

It depends on each person's motivation.

Some people are interested in sports and pay a professional to install a dish with a motor and watch feeds like that ( FTA or BISS). Others want to watch paid bouquets of 2 -3 satellites and are happy with just one DiSEqC 1.0. There are some that are only interested in the latest receiver model and 2 meter antennas for the C band.
The only motivation that I had in 1999 when I bought my first analogue receiver, was simply to watch the only Bulgarian satellite channel (here in Belgium).
Now in 2019 my motivation is not to pay for TV subscriptions and watch channels from different countries. I am interested in the different cultures across Europe. I passively understand several European languages, but I also watch channels from Greece, Hungary or Brazil without understanding their languages.
For me, spending money on dishess, receivers, converters, DiSEqC, cables etc is O.K.
But for me, it would be a humiliation to pay 50 euros a month for a subscription from Sky or Chanal+ ( the french one). The pay TV business model is not my cup of tea. Television content is better when it's free.
I also find that it is better not to depend on the Internet for watching TV.
I do not want my internet provider to know what time which channel I watched.

How will it work on Enigma 2 ?

p.s.
3 dB + 3 dB = 6 dB

How will it work on Enigma 2 ?

When you can set both the diseqc 1.1 command, and the diseqc 1.0 command, in your receiver menu: just fine.

All normal modern receivers can manage that, I guess.
Just not all TV-tuners, and 'closed boxes' from providers, and maybe cheap receivers, I would guess.

I guess that it will work that way:

but for the moment I don't need more thаn 16 satellites.
Thanks for the suggestion.

There was a US college trying to palm off a toroid antenna a few weeks back before it was cut up for scrap.

A few small modifications and some oars and one could get it across the Atlantic.
