TM-9100 Linux receiver / Edision OS mini 4K / TM-2600 M3 motor / 110cm dish (34.5w to 50e) - 100cm dish (51.5e/52e/53e/60e)

Hi everybody,

Due to my obsession of getting most of the arc available to me (I have a motorised dish that goes from 60e to 8w), I've decided to put up an my old 100cm dish to be able to get 15w, 30w and if possible 34.5w. I've successfully alligned the dish to 15w (locking at 12.4db) but when trying to use a multifeed bracket, I'm unable to get 30w.

Before doing anything, I've aimed the second LNB ,and was able to lock on 5w (10.4db) and 1w (8.5db) but mirrored the angle to get 30w but that did not work.

Can anybody please advice or correct on what I can do to get it right or help in any way, I'll fully appreciate it.

Thanks!

Is 30W actually visible over the top of the house that looks to be in front of the dish in that picture?

I always seem to find it a bit fiddly to get a location where a dish can see 30W as it's at a fairly low elevation.

I dunno to tell you the truth. Since moving here, I've never been able to catch 30W but I'll point the dish there to test before moving it to 22W. According to Dish Pointer, it should be ok but I don't know how reliable that is.

Maybe get a separate dish at 30w? So you can still enjoy the motorized as well.
That minidish will work perfectly might have to change lnb!

Somewhere in England (possibly?)!
A totally standard Minidish, preferably Zone 2, with the standard LNB (mine's a Skyware Quad) will easily get the stronger signals from 30W (mine cost <20 quid NoS from a local eBay seller) :D

Tried to do move the dish to 22W and I could not get any signal from the location where the dish mounted. I've found a minidish that I took from my previous address that I will be using but I would like to know if I can also get 34.5W (and 30W) on a minidish.

Ive done it on an 80cm dish. You might find the lnb seperation is too big on a minidish as the lnbs are hard up against each other on the 80.

Also remember the minidish lnb's skews can be designed for eastern birds - you may need the modify the lnb if its one of the old type with the lnb encapsulated in a plastic housing having limited skew adjustment

It's one of the new ones that were rolling out with the Q box. I've ordered a LNB holder from Ebay and once it arrives, I'll put a normal LNB there.

Why do you think so? Have you moved the red drop, to where you expect the obstruction to the signal is (that is, the roof)?
