I didn't want to move it by hand as it looked like it might be poisonous.Caterpillar 1.jpg

Not poisonous, but may cause skin irritation if handled excessively.

They might also have fangs of course, (or spit venom, suck blood , change timelines etc. if annoyed), so best leave it alone.

I saved this one from a chlorine trap at a client's house yesterday, could have been in there for quite some time.

After a quick rinse in fresh water, brought into the house for an hour to warm up then put at the far end of the garden.

At this time of year.We have Hedgehogs and cats going through the gap between the fences.
Not often two hogs at the same time though.Although I know that we nave a pair.The other day two met .There are two ip clips butchered a bit and joined together.
I do not know what was going on I thought that it was a case of the female saying that I have a headache.The second clip looks like hog wars.

Looks like a Cardinal Beetle, specifically Pyrochroa Coccinea. The black head being salient.
