The Dual O/S for the new "goldie" model is Enigma2 Linux and Octagon Linux, anyone know what the advantages are of the Octagon Linux O/S?
Apart from the Octagon Linux O/S it looks like the "goldie" spec is similar to the "non goldie" SF8008?

As the "non gold" SF8008 models are multiboot receivers with 4 boot slots it might just be a case of loading the Octagon Linus O/S into one of the vacant boots slots to transform a "non goldie" to a "goldie"
Plus a can of spray paint to add authenticity.

If you have the receiver connected by Ethernet cable then you don't need them.
I haven't checked to see if they screw off or are permanently attached.

This post shows an SF8008 with the antennas removed, however who knows what cost-cutting has occurred over the years.

there is a difference between what the official data sheet says
and the advertising video showing the interior of the receiver.
1G DDR4 RAM or DDR3x2 that's the question
