Primo doesn't offer such precise TP editing :(
Ahh, I always thought it was a good move when I threw the Primo in the bin!

I added it to the TP list, showed no strength/quality but scanned the transponder and they were found first time.

Summat wrong here: Every other TP on 5W is mahoosive, yet the new TP appears deader than a dodo.

I suspect my Edision Primo is somehow the problem here, not the actual transmission.

Has anyone else with a Primo had success?
I'll try in a couple of days with my Primo.
The new TP really is a bummer...
Instead of searching the new transponder you could try and edit the old transponder in the transponder list. (because the new transponder is an exact copy of the old one)

Done that. Done all sorts of other stuff too - MTS On, MTS off, lots of reboots. Auto Scan, Blind Scan. NIT scan.

Adamantly refuses to play

It's the low transponderpower for sure... Let's hope those French "tnt-engineers" turn the power up when the transponderswap is done! Even I have now difficulty with the new transponder on my 80cm dish :-(
And I live so close to france that I am in the actual center of the footprint

That may well be the case - can't be beggared to reinstall my TD110, though, so may have to live with it for now.

Went multistream chiefly to keep SWMBO happy with Italian stuff - which is still aok.

It's a shame we lost the commercial Italian stations though...
But that's a little off topic.

Shows 100% on my Primo west of London with 80cm. Are you sure you changed to the correct symbol rate?

All I did was edit the symbol rate on the existing entry in the TP list and turn on MTS and the signal appeared immediately

The symbol rate stayed the same, no?

I just played a tiny tiny bit with the Skew of the LNB and it improved a lot. Though the skew was already almost 100 correct!

No it changed from 29950 to 29500 in the Primo TP list.

When I first had the receiver there were a couple of transponders that everyone could get, but showed no signal in the TP list. 12522 was one of them. Like ozumo said, it was not until I scanned it from the TP list that the signal level appeared.

When we get a dry hour, I'll try that.

Another possibility is that my LNB is deaf that high up the band - pretty sure I had that problem in the past.
Five minute job to try another.
