My Satellite Setup
Xtrend ET10000 DVB-C, DVB-S2, and IPTV
Dreambox DM920 DVB-C/DVB-S2X/DVB-T2
TBS 5925 USB-tuner

180cm Channel Master offset dish with polarmount (39E-34.5W, Ku-band)

I have been playing around with a VU+ Zero 4k for a while, but still missing features I'd like to have.
I know some are impossible to get on a settopbox, some features must be possible.

Off course DVB-S2X, MIS(multistream), PLS, H.265, hbbTV. That has the VU+ allready.

-Low symbolrate, so below 1000.
-A working blindscan function (DVB-S/S2).
-A remote control that will not be interfered with my plasma TV.
-possibility to connect USB tuners

Preferable:
-easier T2-MI reception
-transcoding feature
-more (pluggable) tuners
-Capable of running OpenPLi

Probably impossible:
-4:2:2 reception
-Other exotic signals capable, if any?

Can anyone confirm one or more of these features working on their receiver?
Like Mut@nt HD51 4k, Gigablue, Octagon (SF5008?)/SF8008, Zgemma?, other VU+ receivers?

I believe a Silabs Si2166 tuner is best for blindscan?

4:2:2 is easy if you can use the webif relay via the network - you just stream it to vlc player on a computer - I used to do that 10 years ago on my old 7020

Im taking my HD51 out of service. The remote is totally crap & I still cant get on with the abomination that is the E2 s/w. Im going back to another TM5402 & put up with its quirks.

Ive just never got on with E2 ever since I first encountered it on the Vu+ Duo. I find the operations on it over complicated and often illogical.

When the Duo died I took great delight in throwing it very hard into the electronics recycling bin up at the local council yard :-rofl2
