I am using a Dreambox DM 500s, 100ft coaxial RG6 cable, dual ku LNB on a 36 inch dish facing Glaxaxy 19.

As for Channels I look for all free to Air - major networks.

Which transponder is giving you that 63% SNR figure?

Free to air in the UK means that there is no encryption, as you are looking at a Galaxy bird you are obviously over the pond where free to air means illegally decrypting encrypted channels, discussion of which we do not allow, of course, you would know that if you had read the rules when you registered. OK apologies to Sebastianbird, I was unaware that Galaxy 19 had replaced Galaxy 25, which Tony Daly has pointed out is mostly free to air (UK type)

Having said that there is insufficient information to be able to assist

What channels are you seeking to watch?
What makes you think you are pointing at the satellite?
How have you verified the acquisition of the signal?
What size dish are you using?
An SNR means nothing, what is your signal strength and quality?

I used a Satellite finder meter to find Galaxy 19.

All are giving me a 63% snr.

Is there a separate number for signal quality? Some receivers show a signal strength reading even though no signal is being received, it just indicates than an LNB is connected.

It sounds like you either have incorrect transponder parameters or are pointing at the wrong satellite.

When I set parameters for the Eutelsat satellite I receive an AGR 100% or shy of 100% however SNR is still 63%. Even though the receiver is set for mostly EU, I am trying to use it for Galaxy 19.

Please post some names, and frequencies, of the channels you've scanned in.

The vast majority of the TV channels on Galaxy 19 at 97.0W are free to air unencrypted channels.
A Ku-Band scan of Galaxy 19 found 119 TV channels of which 113 were FTA.

I have attached below some pictures of scans run today using EBS Pro and DVBDream, both using a TBS6903 card.
The signal levels and other parameters can be seen in the EPSPro scan result.

As the OP is trying to receive Galaxy 19 at 97.0W with an Enigma2 receiver I have attached below some pictures of a blind scan carried out with an Edision OS mio 4K+ receiver.
The receiver is an Enigma2 model running an OpenViX image.

The scan proceeded smoothly and as expected.
There could be a Tuner configuration issue with the OP's receiver if all other potential issues such as LNB, cabling etc check out with a clean bill of health?

Perhaps if the OP could provide some screen shots of the receiver configuration it might help?

Can I also suggest that the OP do a blind scan of the satellite they think they are on.
The results would show whether they are on the correct satellite or some other satellite altogether.

I don't think the Dreambox 500s has blind scan of any kind.

Let's be honest here a Dreambox 500 is at least 10 years old and probably not functioning correctly in any case, O/P would be better to get hold of something younger as SD channels are quickly being replaced on the arc.

True but the vast majority of the channels that the OP is trying to view on Galaxy 19 are still in SD.
How long that lasts is another question of course.
There is a frequency list here for Galaxy 19 if the OP wants to try them out ?
