No satellite stuff for the moment (aside from a 43cm minidish that was on the house already), Samsung SyncMaster T27B550 Smart TV & Monitor, and a few computers...

Still here indeed, but never lived in a flat, just a mouldy old damp hovel of a "house" when I had my indoor dish on the go... :-rofl2

Ah welcome back!!

As you can see 2cv is still around. Most of the other old timers are also still around. :)

The forum is a bit quieter than in the past but we still have a good laugh and report anything interesting in the world of sat tv hunting

Go on, keep "moaning" (like what you always do :D ) - but you do "lift our spirits up" with your "amusing comments" :D

OTOH to @Yeshi: welcome back and hope you will enjoy the forum as it is now - took me about 10 yrs to "rejoin" after I ceased posting here, but now I do that regularly because I think it's still very good :D

Thanks, unfortunetley i don't have satellite dishes anymore.. (unsightly things) i grew a phobia of cables and hate the sight of them LOL.. since being on here i changed mrs and house a 3 times.. staying put here now and maybe i could start mounting a mature content dish at the side of the house if the mrs lets me :-rofl2

When i came back i had 9 messages.. 1 from red devil.. seems he has gone?? turns out he posted his address to me for unknown reason and he lives in the town i now live in.. small world..

You do need to change your profile, people here think you are still part of the Ku band fan club.

Another wife though, can you handle this one ?

The only time I had to do that was living in the attic of my mum's house, but that was way before I ever was on here (was on digital spy's forum back then), as for dishes indoors, I only ever had mine on a broken camera tripod up until I moved into the 2nd house, but that said, in that house I could sit my portable dish onto the attic-bedroom skylight windowsill to pick anything up with, so maybe that's what you were thinking of? I dunno, that era of my life's a blurry mess memory-wise, anti-depressants I shouldn't have been on and all... :)

After that though, I've pretty much dropped off from the hobby and like I say I just hang about like a bad smell annoying others on here...
