Yes, it will be safer to leave it until daylight. :)

Note to self or Tivú - remember to check about waterproofing, the plastic cover and self-amalgamating tape.

Ok so set Hotbird 13E to A and Astra 2 28E to B.

If that doesnt work then set it up the other way around - there will be an option to change them in the menu's somewhere.

The offset LNB may require a bit of adjustment to receive 28e.

this is the settings i am using now to search.
so lets say if im going to search for CCTV 4 i use the first settings turn the dish 13E. and than thats saved in the first LNB?
next i turn the dish 28E and use the second setting to search for PCNE.

The dish should be left pointing at Hotbird 13e.

Unscrew the offset LNB from the switch to make sure you can get CCTV4.

When you can get that channel (you may have to change the DiSEqC input selection to DiSEqC , then screw in the offset LNB and try for PCNE using the other DiSEqC input selection B (or A if you changed the other input).

If you do not get PCNE it is possible the LNB will have to be moved out slightly as it may be out of focus.

Dont touch the dish at all - the switching is done automatically and if the new dish has been set up properly the alignment should be spot on already.

Make sure you have the right Astra selected - theres 3 orbital slots using Astras!

Astra 1 - 19E
Astra 2 - 28E
Astra 3 - 23.5E

The offset LNB is the one sticking out from the main arm holding the center LNB to the satellite dish.

I think the offset LNB will need adjusting until you get a signal from it.

It is too dark now, so wait until tomorrow.

Try moving it a bit further away from the center LNB and up a bit.

Get someone to watch the signal level. When you get a signal you can work on fine tuning it.
