...Also looking for a c120 feed flange...

If you are looking for an original Precision Ku feed assembly to use with a C120 flange LNB then there are two parts to the feed assembly.

1. The Ku feed that the feed support arms attach to
2. The C120 waveguide interface that connects between the Ku feed and the C120 LNB.

You need both bits to strap a C120 LNB on to a Precision dish unless you make up some type of modification.

Thanks for reply
Not wanting the feed for that dish I’ve got a 1.2 meter cm dish

I’m looking for a precision dish just to play with as I’ve been out of satellite systems for a long time

This one any good, it is a Precision 1.2m dish that I have cleaned up?
The dish is in fairly good condition for its age and performs as would be expected.

All it needs is a quick spray of the rear mounting ring to finish the job.

It comes with a set of original Precision feed support arms but no Ku-Band feed, no C120 waveguide interface and no mount.

£80 collected.

I thought you had already parted with money for the one above, odd it didn't shift.

Yes, I have at least two reflectors and a polarmount, plus the feedarms, though I will have to see if they are the black or gold variety.

You are still too far away from here though (KT8)

You wanted a 90cm, I have 90cm Precision, both spun and pressed reflectors though you have to tell me what you are looking for before committing

Reflector/polarmount/feedarms are what I believe you are in need of (you have a feedhorn and a motor from previous posts)
Wall bracket ?
Cable?
Positioning system ?
Anything else ?

I'm just up the road from Hampton Court, Surrey

Hi yes spun precision dish is what I’m after 90 cm is perfect
I need it all really I need lnb motor feed arms but not sure where I’m going to mount it yet I need everything that goes with the dish not worried about cable yet but I will need it at some point obviously
I’m going to try to use an old maspro positioner that I’ve got
I know I’m asking a lot but can’t be expensive as im renovating my house
I’d hoped there might be someone who had an old setup that needs restoration and know you guys like bigger dishes
It’s just sentimental really my dad bought me one of these dishes years ago just like another one as he’s no longer with me
Thanks

OK, pictures of the reflectors and polarmount. I also have black and gold feedarms - and I'm sure I have both feedhorns - but will need to look a bit further in the sheds.

All reflectors are actually the same (and I'm sure I have one more somewhere), all are straight though the one with the brackets attached has corrosion under the paint and will need more attention if you want a good looking reflector.

Polarmount is the usual zinc galvanised with oilite bearings, but these ones have no play beyond the usual Precision tolerances of the 90's.

I have at least two actuators and a ground/wallmount combination stand (or two), which are mechanically solid but will need sanding and a coat of paint as they were in the lockup that had the break-in.

Let me know if you are interested, can collect and what else you might need beyond what is shown to complete the system and I'll go search later in the week.

Chris

The earlier polarmount and actuator have gone AWOL - temporarily (not sold since I probably moved them to another lock up with the Channel Master 2.4 antenna parts after the heavy rains, but cannot get to check until this weekend)

I pulled a second polarmount from the shed (though it might be from the 1.2m reflector), and have measured the movement , total distance from about 45 degrees East to 45 degrees West is no more than 9 inches as you can see from the tape measure.

The groundstand I have, is just under 3' high and so would be unsuitable for your install.

I am looking for a gold feed for the Precision to go with the feedarms. From memory it has the correct bolt hole measurements to fit onto a C120 flange LNB but the last time I serviced one was just under five years ago. It may have been reworked by an earlier installer to suit.

Perhaps somebody on the forum can confirm.

I have everything except the feedhorn (which is somewhere, just not where I left it).

I also got bogged down in a Surrey field this weekend when I should have been clearing out the shed of old tools and debris.

A bit of a waste of two days trying to free the car, using a combination of shovel, wood panelling, decorative blocks, trousers, paving slabs, old tin roof , 2 x 8 tonne haulier ratchet straps tied to the nearest concrete fencepost and assistance from somebody with the svelt 17 stone required to jump up and down on them.

Sounds like you had great fun
Definitely interested in the dish
Just depends on how much your looking for and your location
I do have a c120 feedhorn and LNB might be compatible
