Hi Everybody.
I recently set out to try & use my IpVanish Vpn on my Octagon SF8008 receiver with the latest VIX image installed.
I am a relative newcomer to Enigma2 images so I was starting from a very low base.
Officially IpVanish don't support satellite receivers with Linux Enigma2 based firmware so I was on my own.
Having searched around the internet for advice I tried several tutorials on how to get it to work without success.
Eventually I hit upon the World of Sat forum where I chanced upon this thread.
I followed post no 112 here OpenVPN Setup guide for most VPN,s - Page 8
It will work with any VPN provider it seems.
This was my post over at World of Satellite where Andy_Hazza was a fantastic help [SF8008] IpVanish Vpn ?
He stuck with me through the whole process.
Perhaps my struggles will help others who are trying to achieve the same result.
