Got it, nice HD, & 2E = good reception (12382 is very difficult in N & F).

Maybe the footprint for Astra 2E is better for fringe reception with the HD version of Quest due to your Lnb being more sensitive to the lower frequency 11426 & Vertical polarisation,
Astra 2F being a higher frequency & Horizontal polarisation for Quest SD overall reception may improve in your location with an Lnb change ?

Great! The 12382 is too unstable here too.

2F UK (& sometimes 2G UK) in evening\early night is a "CM180 case" for me here in Norway (so getting it all at my house).

But currently at cottage with 125cm, no amount of LNB's, good weather, cutting trees, adjusting dish ever help for the close-to-nonexistant 2F UK evening signals (even the very tolerant 12422 2\3 RB's fade away for some hours). Although there was some exceptional levels a few times that allowed marginal 2F UK on the 125, but that never lasted.

Here Quest SD can be breaking up and the BBC red buttons at 12422 H are fine.
I wouldn't dare change from an IBU without absolute proof of the superiority of another LNB.

This morning Quest SD is absent while BBC RB's are are coming through fine at 8 to 10 db.

Quest SD working OK here as is the HD version so from the replies here Astra 2F@ 28.2E is not as good as Astra 2E @ 28.5E for fringe reception,
Slight movement of the dish towards the weaker satellite may solve some problems.

As the weather is fine the dish is in the 2F position. When it is cloudy/rainy I'm up and down stairs to tweak the dish according to the desired channel.

As I acquired a geared motor this week, this morning I got around to testing the concept of a "tweaker" so I can adjust from the comfort of my couch using a radio controlled relay. It's working so now on a scavenger hunt for an enclosure.tweak.jpg

90cm motorised dishes(98x90)+fixed+multiLNB+24Unicable.
Currently 56 satellites, 61°West to 57°East.

Octagon SF8008 4K Twin, VU+Duo², VU+Ultimo4K.
Recycled as the owner.

North of Madrid (28703 Spain) -3Km of IKEA (40.545847, -3.612012).:-)
Outside the main beam and with marginal signals, in motorized facilities, it is good to have 3 satellites to compensate the channel of such satellite and to tune the signal 100%, option B, larger antenna.
In 11426V27500 the receiver indicates 10% more signal/SNR, apart from being HD with very good video bitrate.

Hello, for 2F UK (and sometimes 2G UK) that gives me 15 minutes more viewing time on a "less than very big dish" before it anyway goes away for 6 hours. Problem in Norway west coast is the abyssimal signal fade in the evenings. Got the CM 180 to cope with that, no need for dish re-tweaks after setting a good e\f\g compromise.

And Quest on 2E going very well here while on 2F it's at writing time already beyond salvation (125 cm dish).
About the quest SD being on a high freq., 12304H very strong, 12422H good in daytime, so lnb looks to do fine up there.
