Hi. Apologies for what must be an obvious question but I have got stuck for days on this and can't find my error. I downloaded dbedit to manage my bouquets and received the current files from the box, imported the bouquets in the attached v2.8 and sent them back to the box. ive reloaded, rebooted, unplugged the box since but it seems to insist that "last scanned" is still the only bouquet.

Ive attached two screenshots that show dbedit comparing the box to the local files, yet the web interface (and the screen one for that matter) remain insistent that nothing has changed. have I mucked something up along the way?

In the FTP window in DBEdit, after sending the files to the box, you must click 'Reload Settings on Dreambox'

Without this nothing will change.

Thank you very much B16MCC for an incredible piece of work. Having attempted something similar I can only shudder at the thought of the hours, days and weeks that wentinto this ... so once again thank you ... :-handclap


On a separate note my :

Nickelodeon, Nick Replay, Nicktoons, Nick Jr are blank. Not even an epg showing an entry.

but Nick Jr2 and NicToons Replay are both fine ....

Have searched and read all the threads for a possible solution but perhaps being a beginer I just can't see the answer.

By the way I have a DM500s clone and a VU+ Duo and a full subscription and the channels are fine in the original box.

Thankyou. You lose channels because Sly move the channel to a different transponder or frequency. The dreambox cannot handle that move, you need to sort it out yourself. This is why these bouquets will always be a work in progress, just to keep up with Sly moving stuff around. I just released V2.9 June 16th , just not posted it here yet.

B16MCC ... Hi again mate ... Wondering if you could help regarding your list and my non working channels .

I loaded them into DBEdit and my 500s and notice that your nickelodeon gives me a blank screen ... not even an epg ...

Within DBEdit I see 2 entries for Nickelodeon and if I ZAP to the first one (TSID 2029) I get blank screen but if I zap to the second (TSID 2604) I get the channel ...

My question is how do I make the second entry the default entry in the bouquets on the right.

On I know for one channel I can modify any others that are not working also ... Hope I explained it OK YNA

DBEdit works on a copy and paste and/or drag and drop basis. Simply delete the one that doesn't work and drag the other one into the bouquet.
