I have a 7020 which has been running faultlessly for years now, and I now want to take pre-emptive action and at the very least prepare for disc failure and probably replace the HD. I am well acquainted with doing this in Windows etc but not with Linux and the Dreambox.
What I simply want to do is:
- get a new HD (what are the size limits, if any? - or best/preferred brands)
- create an image of the entire existing HD (recordings and all)
- copy this image to the new HD (which may be larger than my old drive)
- install the new HD in the 7020
- enjoy more years of faultless running!
Any help greatly appreciated
