ok, so if these are on 2F spot:
10.979GHz/V - 11.082GHz/H - 11.112GHz/H - 11.141GHz/H - 11.171GHz/H - 11.585GHz/H

then where are these?:
11.954GHz/H - 12.129GHz/V - 11.973GHz/V - 12.402GHz/V - 12.441GHz/V - 12.422GHz/H

and if they moved to 2F, then maybe this is not a temporary place...?

I think once these new frequencies are mapped to Sky and Freesat boxes we'll get people complaining of missing channels and might get a better picture of what is where.

Astra 1N 2A.jpg Only transponders of Band C are currently on the 2F Spotbeam.

Those located in the high band 11.7 to 12.5 GHz are either 2A or 1N .

2F appearantly isnt meant to use this band, but only 10.95 - 11.2 and 11.45 - 11.7 and 12.5 - 12.75. It is not known yet wether those 12.5-12.75 GHz (Band G) transponders will be broadcast via the Spot or not as there were no 2F broadcasts yet, because it still belongs to Eutelsat... for a few days.
Let's what will happen to the SCPC feeds between 12.66 and 12.75 GHz. They are used to feed DAB transmitters in Germany. So those probably wont go on the 2F Spot.

I got 11954h,12129v,11973v,12402v 1n no signal,12441v 1n ,12422h weak signal 2a north beam

As above,
Astra 2A South (for sure): 11.954H - 12.129V - 11.973V
Astra 2A North (probably): 12.402V - 12.441V

You share the same name too - Laszlo Toth ;) Funnily enough, I know a girl called Lilian Toth, though I doubt they are related! Must be a popular name there?

Looks like we have a disagreement with Flysat - we have decided lots of the new tp's are on 2F - they say 1N :D

well, i have no problems receiving 1N spot beam, and all the problems in the world with 2F spot beam :)
there is a definite devide between those freq's, as i listed before: one bunch works perfectly, the other not at all.
but more than my own experience, my friend's results prove that those cannot be 1N,
unless its a different spot beam than the one between 10744H-10936V...? o_O

I didn't realise the SCPC feeds up the very top of the spectrum were feeding ETI for German DAB distribution, here in the UK the BBC and Digital One use Astra 4A TP31. I'm thinking that if this is a Eutelsat deal to rent unused spectrum for these feeds then that may lapse and the respective transmitters/downlink sites may all have been migrated to new a feed from a different bird?

Been out most of the day and only just waded through all the posts, at least I know the C Band frequencies are on the 2F spot beam as it's something I was curious about. Brings it home to you that if E28A did die prematurely then if Eutelsat paid SES they could, currently, get a solution in place within a short space of time.

Our conclusion is based on logic and signal information gathered over a wide area. If we were just relying on common knowledge and supposed insider information we would probably have come to the same conclusion as Flysat. Same happened last year when 11023 migrated to 2F. Our thread was the first to even notice it and use sound logic to map the beam. This time it is a lot easier because everyone is already familiar with 2F's footprint and signal levels.

Well, looks like Flysat have changed their opinion to match ours now. But they are still wrong about 12129, 12188, and 12402. These are on 2A, not 1N.

If I'm reading that right some of your 1N PE1 signal levels are very similar to 2F's UK spots. 1N is nasty in some parts of the east. My worry is 2F and 2E's PE will be similar, but hopefully it won't be long before we find out now.

Astra 1N PE1 I can receive in the morning ~5db
Astra 2F UK beam - no signal.
I got only 1-2 db on 11023 and now there is similar signal strength on 11156
When they tested 2F PE beam I got strong signals.
Soon we'll know how it looks like.
