ADIM EDIT - Ive split these posts off the C-band query as its deserves its own thread A/S

In the C band I don't know, but in the KU band by the Intelsat satellite @ 27.5º W in the frequency 11608 V SR 6532 FEC 3/4 Siminn TV & Siminn Sport is IPTV. You don't need internet, but you do need a PC-Sat. Channels are open, Siminn TV is always on. Siminn Sport when there is Premier football, weekends. They give quite a few live games. If the schedules are the same, they give different games on the two channels.

By PC-Sat do you mean the feeds are 4:2:2? Or a Sat tuner for the PC?

Thanks

I can't get a sniff on that transponder on a 1m in the Midlands. I'll try again during game time.

Has anyone in the UK had any luck?

Transponder is OK with me in Uttoxeter with a 1.3, nothing downloads on any receiver I have though..

It's an IP stream, you will need PC sat software to view it, using a TBS card or similar. I can see one of them using TSReader/VLC, but not live. I have to save to a file first. Very low bitrate.

Is there any software that can work with a TBS card to play the IP stream in real time rather than having to record then play back?
I am guessing there must be a commercial receiver or something similar to allow the broadcaster to capture/view it in real time, presumably for re-broadcast to a subscriber base?

I seem to recall you can direct tsreader to vlc ising using UDP for live viewing, but I had no luck the last time I tried it.

EPL on now,

There are two ways to access these IP-Over-Sat streams from 27.5W: 1. with Pid 512 recorded, 2. direct transmission via UDP ports using the latest TSReader versions.
It is important that the signal is strong enough for the transmission to run smoothly.
But better watch these videos.

What kind of card do you use?
Maybe TSReader doesn't include the source module for your card(?).

Which TSReader version do you use?
UDP streams only work with the latest versions of TSReader, 2.8.56, 2.8.56a

Unfortunately no-go. The checker says "You already have the latest version". I do have the "Standard" version, no Professional, maybe that's the cause.
