Here you have more images at full resolution
Dropbox - Pictures.rar ( my private dropbox and no I don't have viruses on my laptop so I can assure you the link is clean.)
hope are helping a little.
The LNB is temporary mounted so don't ask why is looking that way.
I'm still looking for a way to mount it properly taking into account the LNB and antenna form (focus point) and I'm still waiting for my multifeed holder.

It's not a Prodelin (at least from the US factory).

There was an offshoot company in India making clones, perhaps it is one of those

Are you sure it is a 1.8m ?

@EmilK Did you have a chance to measure the working area?

Not necessary to measure antenna anymore..... winter you know :) There is all data you need to know about your antenna:

Working area = 1207x1264mm
Depth = 89.2mm
Opening angle = 64*
Offset angle = 17,3*
Distance from the top point of the working area to the focal point = 1348mm
Distance from the bottom point of the working area to the focal point (Focal distance) = 973mm
Aiming point of the LNB (from the Focal point to the bottom point of the working area) = 560mm

OK, I see you have ordered multifeed, so will not advice on that.

I really dont know why I was thinking at 1.8 m .... :unsure
How tall are you? :p

Grrrr, Im small enough to make from a 1.2 m antenna a 1.8 m one hi hi hi
Thanks for the data that will help me a lot at tuning

Secondary, about multiffeder or anything else, if is wrong just tell me, on Amazon I have anyway 30 days money back option.
Im here to learn not to shine with what I had, have or will have.

P.S. Can someone split this threat, in my opinion is going OT.

@EmilK Just start a new thread, name it as you wish.
Do you have a plan how to fix your new multifeed to the feedarm?

I tried a very offset feed on the 1.5m prime with some success on L band (25 degrees) but there is a lot more signal. Don't go to the trouble of making a proper fixing to start with. It's easy enough to use a tripod and clamp to play with a 2nd feed. I think that you will be lucky to get consistent Alphasat C band reception on a 1.2m, even with the feed at the focus but it is worth a go. I'd get yourself a C band LNBF (PLL for stability) and an offset feed. It seems that Titanium C1-PLL LNB sales are now only from the US. Aliexpress is cheap for feedhorns if you don't mind waiting e.g Free shipping 100% aluminum Conical scalar ring & 65mm C Band LNB holder-in Satellite TV Receiver from Consumer Electronics on Aliexpress.com | Alibaba Group

As has been said, the Prodelin probably has an f/d of 0.8. I have found that normal (0.6 f/d) feeds work OK (on Ku & Ka bands) but using the correct one gains a dB or 2. Attached is a list of the various Prodelin dish dimensions with their f/d. However, since you have it, just try it. If you take the SDR and laptop out to the dish you can tweak it in real time.

So I need a little bit of help
Got an L-band / Inmarsat Antenna with Integrated Amplifier and SAW Filter from Ebay and I have some data but only on the 600 and 1200 burst channels (Alphasat XL satellite).
If I try to mount it on the sat dish it gonna be from RHCP to LHCP so is there any other possibility to improve the signal?
Right now Jaero is reporting 16 dB signal level - if I understand correctly the info displayed, Ive go already some messaged about birds, fuel levels and so on but I have no positional data.
Secondary how can I configure VRS to receive the positional info that from time to time is displayed. I added a new receiver defined it as Sat feed but after some hours still shows 0 positions.

This is the antenna

Thanks for your help

Has something changed with Aero because as I understood it postioning data was only found on C-Band? It was definitely the case when I was messing around with it back at the beginning of this thread.

Update
Mounted an periodic antenna at the dish with the outernet amp (the test before was using just the outernet active antenna).
I have 9 to 10 db on the 10500 channels so those are full decoded but I have no idea where the channels containing the positional data are located so if someone can help me it would be great
Thanks
Emil
